Offset printing is a common printing technique in which the inked image is transferred from a plate to a rubber blanket and then to the printing surface.
Compared to other printing methods, offset printing is best suited for economically producing large volumes of high-quality prints in a manner that requires little maintenance.
Courier Printing is equipped with a 28" 4-color Komori Lithrone with aqueous coater, a Komori 26" 2-color perfector, 20" 2-color Heidelberg, and a couple duplicator presses.
Offset printing is ideal for pocket folders, newsletters, magazines, books, and larger quantities of brochures, stationery, and direct mail.
Digital printing is the process of printing digital-based files, like PDF's, directly on media. Unlike offset, there is no need for a printing plate.
Digital printing has a higher cost per page than more traditional offset methods, but the price is usually offset by avoiding technical steps and required plates. It also allows for on-demand printing with a short turnaround time with the options of variable data.
Courier Printing has 2 Richo Pro 7200 series printers that are ideal for small quantity catalogs, brochures, business cards and flyers. At 4800dpi, your prints can be in full color or black with the option of full/spot gloss or white toner.
Letterpress printing, which was started about 1440 by Johannes Gutenberg, is a technique of relief printing for producing many copies by repeated direct impression of an inked, raised surface against individual sheets of paper.
Letterpress also includes wood engravings, photo-etched zinc plates or linoleum blocks, which can be used alongside metal and wood type in a single operation.
Courier is equipped with 4 of these old-style presses that are modern even in today's world. For that special touch on Portfolio covers, wedding packages, coasters, die-cutting, numbering jobs and more, contact us to make your project original.
